Train @ Blythewood Lake, ca. 1890
Before it was the Stony Run trail, it was the Ma & Pa train line. And that totally adorable house on Lake Ave was a station.
No Man of Her Own (1950)
2 stars for Barbara Stanwyck just for existing - ½ star for her again playing someone far too young (love ya, Babs, but come on) + 1 star for telling the story in flashback, which I generally enjoy - ½ star for the voice-over, which was a bit too too + ½ star for all of Babs’ “Ack, I almost made a slip-up!!” faces + ½ star for the crazy train scene, which was way crazier than I was expecting - ½ star for having the primary indication that Babs was pregnant be that she was sweaty and exhausted after walking up a bunch of stairs, which would imply that I am pregnant as well
